Dental Insurance

YES!  You CAN use your insurance benefits at our office!  We are not contracted with any insurance providers which allows us to be unrestricted providers without limits from insurance company on the type and quality of services and materials we can use.  This allows us to provide the most personalized and state of the art treatments for our patients.  After your appointment, we will provide you with a claim form that you submit directly to your chosen insurance provider so that they can remit their rebate directly to you, the subscriber.  We will do our best to help you get the most out of your contract benefits.

Dental insurance does not cover all related dental expenses for treatment.  The purpose of dental insurance is to provide FINANCIAL AID while receiving dental treatments. Many plans pay around 50 to 80% of the average fee for each service. This is typically decided by either the contract your employer has signed with the insurance provider or how much coverage your employer has secured.

Most insurances will cover a portion of dental treatment, have a deductible that must be met, and have a yearly maximum that they will cover.  The type of plan chosen by you, and/or your employer, determines your insurance benefits.  As such, we have no say in the selection of your insurance company, no control over the terms of your contract, the methods of reimbursement or the determination of your benefits.

We will provide you with a claim form that you submit directly to your chosen insurance provider so that they can remit their rebate directly to you, the subscriber.  Most, but not all, insurance companies are required to remit payment within 30 days. We cannot guarantee that your insurance company will pay you any amount of money at all, this is defined by the terms of the contract you have with them.

Financial Obligation

Please be aware that the parent or caregiver bringing the child to Bluebird Pediatric Dentistry is legally responsible for payment of all charges.  We cannot send statements to other people.  Payment in full is expected for each appointment as services are rendered.  For your convenience, we accept cash, debit cards, and most major credit cards.
